This is a house that had an old leaky roof that was curling up, cracking and streaking. Since there was only one layer of shingles, we were able to lay the new shingles over the old shingles which kept within the owners limited budget, followed building codes and buttoned up all the leaks. This process took our crew about 5 hours to install. The new shingles are a three tab certainteed high grade shingles. This roof will look great and prevent leaks for many years to come. The higher grade shingles allowed us to re-roof the house and still maintain smooth even lines. We also scraped off the parts of the old shingles that where curled up to further enhance the look and performance of the new roof.
The homeowner left for work that morning with an old leaky roof and came home to a beautiful new roof with no sign of any construction work, scraps, or mess of any kind.
